The arrival of the injured pigeon
Our story begins with an injured pigeon that was brought to us. She was injured and urgently needed care and attention.
Recovery and release
After loving care and recovery, the time had finally come: we were able to release the pigeon into the wild. It was a moving moment for us all when she was finally able to fly again.
A special return
Amazingly, the pigeon returned to us weeks after its release. We perceived this behavior as her way of saying ‘thank you’. It was a wonderful feeling to see that she had not forgotten us.
The reunion with her group
Eventually the pigeon found its group again, which for us was a sign of its complete well-being and independence. Pigeons are social animals and finding their group again was crucial to their happiness.
